Comments about Akai Professional MPC Studio Black: I can't believe ppl leave reviews like the one above (or below?). If you're not willing to learn the instrument before bashing it with low star ratings then maybe music is not your thing. And yes, a sampler is an instrument.

Everything you describe in that sad excuse for a review is 100% preventable, had you taken the time to familiarize yourself with the mpc; instead of running to the computer to tell everyone just how much you don't know what you're doing. Seriously now. Comments about Akai Professional MPC Studio Black: I bought this so that I can add beats to my music. So far, I have not been able to do that at all. I did manage to load the MPC software as a VST plug in to my recording software (the instructions are completely lacking in this regard.

They do not tell you where to find the mpc.dll file. Nor do they even tell you that the dll file is named mpc.dll.). I recorded a kick drum and it sounded nice full with lots of depth while I was recording it. But when I played it back, it was thin and shallow sounding. Then I recorded a high hat beat. As soon as I did that, the kick drum part started clipping!

I could not figure out how to fix that. Then, as I was trying to figure that out, somehow, the MPC plug in became offset from the beat in my recording software, by just a fraction of a second.

I had to remove the plug in from the song and then re-insert it So, I thought that I would record the beat using the MPC software as a standalone, i.e., not as a VST plug in. Okay, I recorded the beat okay. But still, once I layered the high hat, the kick drum went from sounding full and deep to thin and shallow. Diablo 2 - Details Zum Patch V1.13 more.

I tried exporting as a wav file. The results were horrible! The tempo changed and not all of the notes I recorded actually showed up.

I only had two bars or recording, and I set it to export from bar 1 to bar 2. So, this equipment is a four hundred (American monetary unit) waste of my money right now. Completely unusable.
