Unless you're having issues with your GPU as it is, or your GPU manufacturer (EVGA/MSI/ASUS/etc) have specifically released a statement saying that the card needs a BIOS update it's safest not to, and you don't have any need to do so. The other part of your question regarding why only TPU has a list the BIOS updates, I'm honestly not sure, I tried looking for them on EVGAs own site (as some TPU listed a few for EVGA cards) and couldn't seem to find anything so no idea where TPU even got them.
