Well I have all my parts to do my BOV installation but the instructions for the HKS SSQV are in Japanese! It looks pretty simple but if anyone knows of some translated instructions for this application, please let me know. I just like to be completely sure I'm doing things correctly.

It was setup for Silvias and Skylines. I had to follow the color codes to BOTH, as the 240sx is the Skylines little bro and the Silvias half bro. Unbolt IC cover and remove 2. Remove vacuum tube and recirc tube from stock bypass. Unbolt stock bypass and remove. Take rubber ring from bottom of stock bypass and place into bottom of sc-power adapter flange. Bolt ssqv to top of adapter flange with gasket in between.
If running recirc, unscrew exhaust port and place recirc fiiting inside, then screw back in. Bolt ssqv w/ adapter flange to IC pipe. Attach vacuum tube to vacuum port of ssqv. If running recirc, attach recirc hose onto recirc fitting and clamp. If running vta, place cap on recirc tube. Reattach IC cover making sure aluminum leaf in the back sits on the IC and no plastic is touching the IC.
Then screw in both bolts. Test out by engaging turbo and quickly letting off gas. Listen to see if valve opens under low boost to avoid compressor surge. Also listen for valve flutter under high boost and adjust so it stays closed until u let of the gas. It may be easier to tune the bov while vta and then attach recirc tube afterwards.
U can scan the images to me if u want and ill translate for u. But installation is typical for all applications. You mention adjusting the valve, how do I do that? I thought the HKS SSQV was non-adjustable but I might be wrong. As far as valve flutter, when would I hear that? While stomping the gas or right as I let off?

Sorry, i dont have any pics for u. Valve flutter is hard to hear if ur not driving and just reving. But basically, under high boost, u'll hear it. When mashing on the gas that is, before u release the valve. Compressor surge is when u let off the gas and close the throttle body.
